“Sarah Sturgis is an incredible teacher…”

Sarah Sturgis is an incredible teacher.  She worked with my daughter for 3+ years as a teacher and educational therapist and during that time I got to witness Sarah’s work daily.  Sarah is creative and joyful and so encouraging to her students.  I would say that Sarah’s ability to truly get to know her students and understand their strengths and challenges is such a gift.  Sarah can be fun and and playful while always making sure that the work gets done.  During the pandemic when my daughter was 8 years old they would work once a week on zoom and  Sarah had the ability to let my daughter express herself (sometimes very off subject) while also keeping her on task.  I found that balance to be incredible.  Sarah has the best laugh- it is contagious as is her joy for her students. Plain and simple Sarah gets kids- and they understand this and then on top of that she is an excellent teacher.  We are so grateful that we got to work with Sarah.
